Made this a week or so back. Kind of an experiment. Kind of a recipe handed down from a friend. I think some diced tomatoes in there would also be lovely.
This is a great dish for many reasons. It’s easy to make. You could make ahead of time and freeze it. It’d be great for when you bring a meal to a friend. You can “hide” veggies in it. It’s easily doubled or tripled. It couldn’t be any simpler.
Ingredients:
Cooked chicken in bite size pieces. I did about 1/2 pound.
Some cooked veggies – I got the California mix which was broccoli, cauliflower and carrots. I did about 2 cups.
A jar of Alfredo sauce
A bag of mozzerella cheese
Pasta – I used about 8 ounces of bow tie pasta
Spices – I used garlic powder when I cooked my chicken and then sprinkled in some basil.
Directions:
Mix chicken, alfredo, veggies and spices together.
Put into a casserole dish.
Top with mozzerella cheese
Bake at 350 until cheese is brown. 30 minutes maybe.
Serve!
Servings: About 4-5 with the quantities I used.
Do I see noodles in there too?
Lisa
