Definition of Insanity #1: Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
Definition of Insanity #2: Taking 4 boys to the doctor’s office for 3 of their appointments at 8 am in the morning.
As you might have guessed, I took all 4 boys to the doctor’s office today – bright and early! Stephen had his 3-year-old check up. Sam had his 18-month check up. Ben had his 4-month check up. Only Finn didn’t have to be seen – I guess he just got to go along for the fun.
It went well – having the first appointment of the day probably really helped us as they were ready for us and running on time, which was wonderful. I’ve learned a little trick and that’s to hole up in the doctor’s office and let the nurses do the running. Mostly when its time to weigh the little ones, the nurse just takes the baby to the weighing station, does her thing and brings them on back. It keeps me and the others from causing trouble, which is great for everyone. Win/win!
(And, of course, I bring the double stroller – I don’t go anywhere without that thing!)
