Sometimes I wish I was a Hollywood celebrity just for the fact that maybe, just maybe a good photographer would follow me around and get pictures of the great moments in my life. Not the “I just won an Academy Award” moments (everyone gets pictures of those moments). But moments like “Son #1 just asked to hold Son #2 and gave him kisses” moments. Or like “The spaghetti sauce turned out especially good this time” moments. But, alas, I am not famous. And that’s a good thing.
But for the month of December, I want to get my camera out more. And capture more “everyday” kind of moments. Victories. Defeats. Cute, cuddly moments. Meltdowns. The stuff of everyday life.
Day #1: Desire to clean
After Phinehas is done eating, we wipe his high chair, his hands and face. But lately, he wants to play with the rag. So we clean it off when we’re done cleaning him off and let him clean. He cleans his chair. Then when he gets down, he usually likes to clean the floor. And walls. And cupboards. And who knows what else.
