In my desire to eat healthier, I’m stuck at breakfast. I mean, cold cereal is just sooo easy and, if you do couponing, fairly inexpensive. Jeff never use to eat breakfast. But when we got married, he started eating cereal with me in the morning. So now he’s a cereal eater.
We no longer eat breakfast together anymore – since children arrived, he’s adjusted his schedule so that he gets up at 5:00 a.m. and gets to work uber early. Early to work = early to get home. I like that.
Now that Phinehas is eating solids almost exclusively (a couple of cups/bottles of milk a day), I need to tackle the breakfast issue for him. I eat weird things for breakfast – mostly leftovers (even soup and spaghetti and roast beef!). He’s a big fan of fruit and dry Cheerios. He’s a fan of the pancakes that Jeff makes on Saturdays and the bagel that we give him on Sundays, but what about the rest of the week?
I haven’t tried eggs in a while, but last time I tried, he didn’t care for them. What are good, wholesome things that ‘normal’ people eat for breakfast?
