I mean, it’s coming in 6 weeks. I wanna plan my holiday schedule. I’m not one of those that refuse to even think about Christmas until after Thanksgiving. Let’s give Thanksgiving its due and all, but some things about Christmas take planning and thought. If I didn’t think about it til almost December, it might be too late!
Last year, I had a different place to decorate than I do this year. Last year, I had different neighbors to meet and encourage. Last year, we spent Christmas in Jeff’s home town. This year, we’ll be at home. Last year, things just looked slightly different. Not better, not worse. Different! I like the idea of keeping some things always the same. I like the idea of determining if new stuff should come in. I like the idea of discarding things that no longer work.
Are there new traditions I want to start this year?
